Is ClickUp HIPAA Compliant?
ClickUp can support HIPAA Compliance, but only on its Enterprise plan. Enterprise includes a signed Business Associate Agreement (BAA), advanced permissions, SSO/SAML, and audit logs.
For small practices, agencies, and development teams, Enterprise isn’t always efficient as it works for companies with more than 15-20 seats. If you’re not on that plan, keep PHI in HIPAAtizer and send only non-PHI data to ClickUp.

We don’t have a native ClickUp integration, but you can wire them together using webhooks. Here’s the setup:
- In your form, go to Form Settings -> Integrations and add a webhook pointing to the ClickUp Create Task endpoint
- Generate an API token in ClickUp under Settings -> ClickUp API and include it as an Authorization header on the webhook

Keep access controlled
Even after integration, HIPAA compliance depends on proper access control.
Make sure:
- Only authorized staff can access form submissions in HIPAAtizer
