Managing a Team Member's Submission Notifications
Submission notification settings can be reached two ways, and they control the same thing: which team members are emailed when a form is submitted.
- By form, in Form Settings → Submission Recipients: one form, every team member.
- By person, on the Team page: one team member, every form.
Use whichever axis matches the change you are making. Setting up a single new form is quicker by form. Changing what one person receives across many forms is much quicker by person.
Where to find it
Path: Team → Security Officers or Assistants → the Submission Recipient column
Only Security Officers and Assistants can be submission recipients, so the column appears on those two tabs.
Each row in the team table shows a form count followed by a (View Details) link, for example 12 Forms (View Details).
Changing which forms a member receives
- Go to Team, open the tab for the member's role (Security Officers or Assistants), and find the team member.
- Click (View Details) in the Submission Recipient column.
- A window opens listing every form in your account, titled Forms for which <name> receives submissions.
- The table has two columns, Form Title and Submission Recipient. Check the box in the Submission Recipient column beside each form this person should be notified about, and uncheck the ones they should not.
Each row is one form, and each checkbox is independent, so you can leave a member on some forms while removing them from others.
The list is paginated, ten forms per page by default. Use the page-size selector below the table to show more at once if you have many forms.
A checkbox here is the Submission Recipient checkbox for that form, the same one that appears on the form's own Submission Recipients tab. You are looking at one member's row across every form instead of one form's list of members.
What this does not change
This screen controls email notifications only. It does not control who can see submissions in the dashboard. By default every team member can see all submissions in the account. To restrict that, use Locations.
To make a member's notifications depend on what the respondent answered, use Conditional Notification Logic on the form's Submission Recipients tab.
